Investment Objective
The partnership will invest in a portfolio of publicly listed mining firms that provide attractive tax savings and offer the potential for capital appreciation.
Tax Savings
Investors seeking to significantly reduce taxes on 2024 personal or corporate income should consider the Terra 2024 Short-Term Flow-Through LP ( Terra LP ). For a $1,000 investment in Class A units, individuals can reduce their 2024 taxes by up to $747, or 75% of the capital invested in a Terra LP (see Investment Summary for more details).
Investment Overview
The partnership will invest in a portfolio of 25 to 35 publicly traded mining flow-through shares, which provide federal & provincial tax benefits including: (1) Canadian exploration expenses; (2) federal 30% critical mineral exploration tax credit for critical mineral investments in cobalt, copper, graphite, lithium, nickel & uranium or (3) federal 15% mineral exploration tax credit for investments in gold & silver; and (4) provincial tax incentives for exploration in BC, SK, MB, ON & QC. The partnership also has a low break-even between 35% and 49% of the invested amount (see Investment Summary). Tax savings are further enhanced and the break-even further reduced for investors with available capital losses.
Capital Appreciation
Capital appreciation is achieved through an increase in the value of the partnership’s portfolio of investments.
Rollover/ Maturity: On or about June 2025 or sooner

Minimum investment: $5,000 (50 Units) - multiples of $500 thereafter

Cypress Capital Management Ltd.

Cypress will source and direct investments for the Partnership. Founded in 1998 in Vancouver, Cypress is a boutique money manager made up of a team of investment professionals managing over $4 billion in assets for institutional and private clients. 
 

Brad Bay, CFA is Portfolio Manager for the Partnership and previously worked at Haywood Securities as an Analyst in the Investment Banking and Corporate Finance group and Priviti Capital as an oil & gas equity analyst. Brad joined Cypress Capital Management Ltd. (Cypress) in 2017 as an Analyst and was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2019. He was co-manager of the Terra 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 Short-Term Flow-Through Limited Partnerships. Brad is portfolio manager for the Terra 2023 Short-Term Flow-Through LP & Terra Small Cap Growth Fund and a member of the investment team at Cypress. Mr. Bay holds a B.Comm from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary and became a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder in 2018.
